On May 15th, our network was showcased at the stunning venue on the 39th floor of Regione Lombardia, where various regional and national stakeholders gathered to discuss the future of the chemical industry in Lombardy and across Europe.

The event began with a keynote address by ECRN President and Regional Minister for Economic Development, Guido Guidesi. Following this, ECRN Executive Director Folco Ciulli provided an overview of the network, with additional insights from our Junior Communication and Project Officer, Niccolò Mazzocchetti.

“Europe must prioritize the chemistry sector in both debate and industrial policies, ensuring its continued prominence on the continental stage,” remarked President Guidesi.

The event highlighted the network’s mission to address the challenges facing the chemical industry moving forward.
