Future Skills: Regional Contributions to Defining the Future of Energy-Intensive Industries

Future Skills: Regional Contributions to Defining the Future of Energy-Intensive Industries

On June 28th, we hosted our first completely in person event of the year. It was a great chance to identify the role of regional and local authorities in the green and digital transition, highlight the skills gaps in the chemical sector and find short and long term solutions for the industry.

We believe that the green and digital transition cannot progress without focusing on skills and education. The twin transformation will have tremendous implications for regional development and employment. It will change skills requirements, redistribute jobs across locations, decrease jobs in some activities, and raise them in others.
