Just Transition Platform Meeting – Coal Regions in Transition virtual week and Carbon-intensive regions seminars

The fifth edition of the Just Transition Platform Meeting - Coal Regions in Transition virtual week and Carbon-intensive regions seminars will take place online on 10 - 12 May 2022.
The Just Transition Platform assists all stakeholders in using the support provided by the Just Transition Mechanism, including the Just Transition Fund. The Platform also promotes actively the exchange of best practices among all stakeholders involved. It supports coal, peat, oil shale and carbon-intensive regions across the EU in achieving a just transition.
In 2021, ECRN was selected as part of the first circle of the Just Transition Platform Working Group on Chemicals. As a core member, ECRN co-leads the internal activities and the implementation of concrete actions. In the last months, ECRN has been working on the Scoping paper, which outlines the Working Group's priorities and identifies the key challenges within the chemical sector.
