Lombardy Public Consultation

Take part in a Public Consultation on Sustainable Development in Lombardy region!

In 2015, Italy joined the new United Nations Development Agenda “Transforming our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” and, two years later, approved the National Sustainable Development Strategy as the main instrument for coordinating implementation of the 2030 Agenda in Italy. This National Sustainable Development Strategy– adopting the same ‘broad-brush’, universal and inclusive approach of the 2030 Agenda – intends to boost nationally and regionally the collaboration and interaction abilities to ensure the necessary integration of sustainability objectives into territorial and sector policies.

Following this, Lombardy is currently building a new regional strategy for the Sustainable Development. In this way, the region aims to link the Regional Smart Specialisation Strategy (RIS) to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for 2030.

With the proposed consultation, Lombardy Region wishes to analyse themes linked to the circular economy and the bioeconomy within the framework of the “sustainable development” (the 3 sections of the survey). All these topics are relevant at European level, and Lombardy Region intends to explore the theme of “sustainable development” out of their own boundaries by opening the survey to its European Regions, agencies and networks. The contributions collected will serve as a foundation to the strategy and help the Region carrying out targeted, shared and constructed actions.

Therefore,  ECRN kindly invites on behalf of its member all relevant entities working on the topics to fill in the survey.

You can participate through this link. It takes about 15 minutes to complete the questionnaire, which will remain open until 11th November 2019.

Lombardy Region and ECRN genuinely thank you in advance for your collaboration.
