The ECRN General Assembly was held in Brussels on 25 June. In addition to the statutory decisions and strategic discussions, the General Assembly elected Mr. Hartmut Möllring, the Minister of Science and Economic Affairs in Saxony-Anhalt (Germany), as the new President of ECRN.

In the meeting, an ECRN position paper on EU Industrial policy was also adopted. The key messages from the chemical regions were taken directly to the European Commission, as representatives of the ECRN participated in a high-level meeting with Antonio Tajani, the Vice President of the European Commission, and representatives of the chemical industry and other stakeholders.
