Partners of the Thematic Area on Chemicals to gather in a second meeting on 30 September in Brussels

September 30, 2019 @ 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm CEST

Invitation 2nd Partnership meeting

On 30th September, partners will gather at the House of the Dutch Provinces in Brussels in order to share advancements and take concrete decisions on the following steps for the Partnership.

In February, the partners of the Thematic Area on Chemicals defined 4 thematic working groups – Alternative feedstock, Polymers, Chemical recycling and Sustainable Process Technologies –  in order to enable focused discussions. Working groups have met several times over the past months to determine key common priorities, exchange projects ideas, and identify key regional actors. Stakeholders from the private sector, research organizations, universities and clusters have since then joint the dialogue.

For this second plenary meeting, partners will have the opportunity to make further progress in each Working Group through a parallel session. The 4 Working Groups will then pitch to each other, in a plenary session, the project ideas to be developed jointly in the future. In this event, stakeholders will also  receive hands-on expert advice on the recently launched Commission service –Technical Assistance Facility (TAF) in order to understand how to access this free service in the following months.

This event will be hosted by the Representation of  Province of Limburg  in Brussels , and will be supported by ReConfirm and ECRN.

To join us, please write us a short email to office@ecrn.net  .

We encourage all regional stakeholders being companies, clusters, research and technology centers or universities, from partner or interested regions to join us in this event.

The partnership is still open for European regions willing to exchange knowledge and advance with us on the four priorities. For further information, you can contact Neli Georgieva at office@ecrn.net.
