The Debate on the Future of the European Chemical Industry will take place on 11 December 2024, from 16:15 to 18:30 at the European Parliament, room Paul Henri Spaak (PHS) 7C50, hosted by MEP Adam Jarubas.
The event, organized with the support of Mazovia Voivodeship, the capital region of Poland, and the Waste Management and Recycling Cluster will serve as an opportunity to present ECRN’s stance on the future of the chemical industry to European institutions, coinciding with the upcoming Polish Presidency of the EU Council. A central feature of the event will be a high-level debate addressing the current state of the chemical industry and the challenges it faces. Additionally, the event will commemorate the 20th anniversary of ECRN’s founding. In conclusion of this high-level discussion, the handover of the Position to institutional representatives is envisaged.
The high-level debate will be followed by a Gala Dinner.
