In the context of the 20-21 March European Council, the European Chemical Regions Network has formulated a set of recommendations on issues that should be emphasized and addressed in the debate on industrial competitiveness. We stress the importance of a coherent, integrated and effective policy framework that takes into account the implications and/or synergies across different policy issues. As a regional network, we also wish to underline the important role of the regions.
