It is important to note that #Biobased #Barcamp is not a typical conference. Instead, it provides an open space for the regional and international bioeconomy community to discuss ideas, projects, issues, challenges and visions. The goal is to connect participants from different sectors and regions, so that people cooperate, innovate and create value for new biobased value chains together. The motto is: no spectators – only participants! It is up to the participants which themes to set, which topics to discuss, which questions to raise. Every participant is asked to share their knowledge, to ask questions and to propose sessions to fill the barcamp/open space/ad-hoc conference. No titles, no hierarchies.
