Industrial engineer, Executive MBA and AMP (Advanced Management Program).

In November 2022 he was appointed general director of Industry, until then he has been general director of Esade Creapolis, the business and knowledge park of the Esade business school. He has also been an academic collaborator at Esade and an associate professor at the UPF in areas related to the management of innovation and technology. He has also been an external expert for the European Commission, advising and evaluating policies and projects related to the economic and social impact of research, technology and innovation.

Until December 2016, he held the position of director of technology transfer and valorization at EURECAT, the reference technology center in Catalonia. Previously, he had been manager of the Technology Transfer area of the Generalidad de Cataluña in ACCIÓ and, until 2009, he was director of Cluster Development at 22@Barcelona. He had previously been responsible for service contracts in Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas. He began his professional career as an R&D project technician at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia
