The follow-up to the High Level Group on chemical was this year’s headline of the annual ECRN Congress.
This 8th Congress of the European Chemical Regions was another successful event with prominent speakers from the European Commission, regional representatives and industry. Commissioner Günther Oettinger, Prime-Minister Kris Peeters from Flanders, ECRN President Dr. Reiner Haseloff and essencia President Wouter de Geest welcomed the participants on an evening reception in which the discussion on energy supply for the chemical industry was in the focus. The following day was dedicated to the topics of future feedstock, logistics and energy security.
