ECRN to participate at EU Industry Days 2025

EU Industry Days are the European Union’s flagship annual event dedicated to industrial policy. They bring together key stakeholders, innovators, and policymakers to discuss strategic priorities, share knowledge, and strengthen the European industrial base.

ECRN Executive Director, Folco Ciulli, will attend the panel titled “From Declaration to Action: Advancing Global Standards and EU Competitiveness in Sustainable Chemical Management” organized by the Polish Chamber of Chemical Industry. Folco Ciulli will debate the topics with:

  • Bob Diderich, Head of Division, Environment Directorate, Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD)
  • Szymon Domagalski, Policy Advisor, Polish Chamber of Chemical Industry
  • Tomasz Zieliński, President of the Board, Polish Chamber of Chemical Industry
  • Kay Williams, Head of the Global Framework on Chemicals Secretariat, United Nations Environment Programme

The 2025 edition will be held on 5–6 June in Rzeszów, Poland, with the support of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union. As one of the highlight events of the Polish Presidency, it will offer a unique platform to explore the future of European industry.

In addition to the main programme, the event will include:

  • Parallel sessions exploring key industrial themes,

  • An innovation exhibition showcasing cutting-edge EU projects,

  • A meet-the-experts corner offering guidance on EU support tools for industry,

  • A matchmaking area to foster new partnerships and collaboration opportunities.

This year’s programme will focus on three strategic themes:

  1. Competitiveness and Decarbonisation
    Creating lead markets for clean technologies, accelerating circularity and decarbonisation, enhancing clean energy deployment, strengthening the Single Market, and developing the right infrastructure and policy framework.

  2. An Innovative Industry
    Supporting investment, derisking innovation, empowering start-ups and scale-ups, promoting critical technologies, and advancing skills development and research.

  3. Security and Resilience
    Reinforcing European value chains, securing access to critical raw materials, bolstering defence capabilities, and contributing to Ukraine’s recovery.
